Tim Bray Productions is celebrating 25th anniversary this year (1991-2016).
What does it mean?
In a nutshell:
- 25 years
- 80 productions
- 1,000s of incredible talented people creating the vision
- 10s, if not 100s, of 1,000s of people just like you being involved
To celebrate our achievements and pinpoint new areas for growth and development of our theatre company, there is no better way than reflect on past challenges, fun production moments and experiences that happened to be a part of our theatre life. We invite you, dear reader, to share those beautiful memories and inspirational stories with us.
But first of all, we would like to say thank you for being a part of our intense and beautiful theatre journey.
“Thank you for what you bring to our company – your arrivals of expectation and, we hope, your departures of fulfilment; your laughter during the shows; your own imaginations as you believe that there are indeed ice caves on stage; your faith in what we offer; your ticket purchases and donations which sustain us; your encouragement of others to attend; but most of all thank you for your desire for your child/ren to love live theatre.” – Tim Bray, Artistic Director at Tim Bray Productions
We have prepared interesting content to get you inspired:
- archive photos to see how Tim Bray started the theatre company
- production photos from various theatre shows (2000-2016)
- video interviews series that capture life stories, funny anecdotes told by our core cast & crew, team & audience members and everyone else who played the vital role to the life of Tim Bray Productions.
This webpage is a virtual attempt to take you through our Theatre Company journey from a very beginning – Tim Bray was only 27 when he started the company called The Central Theatre – right up to nowadays – the days when we dream BIG, set up new goals, produce at least four shows a year and take A Lion in the Meadow and Other Stories by Margaret Mahy on tour around Northland, Tauranga and Hamilton this October.
