About the Show

On the 18th of December Tim Bray Productions is hosting Dutch Day at The PumpHouse Theatre, where Dutch people can come together, socialise, and watch the annual The Santa Claus Show.

Why Dutch Day?

Hi my name is Julian de Mari and I am an intern at Tim Bray Productions. I study event management back home in the Netherlands and for my study I need to organise an event! I’ve already met a lot of Dutch people in New Zealand, so I wanted to organise a day where Dutch people could come together, socialise and watch The Santa Claus Show. Hope to see you there – tot dan!

Monday 18 December
12 noon – 2pm

Lunch: 12 noon – 12.50pm
Bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy in the outdoor amphitheater at The PumpHouse, meet new friends and listen to some traditional Dutch music

Show time: 1pm
Enjoy the fun and magic of The Santa Claus Show – New Zealand’s longest running Christmas theatrical treat. Live on stage at The PumpHouse Theatre, Takapuna

Post-show coffee
You and your family, and your newly found Dutch friends, are welcome to linger at the French Rendez-Vous Cafe, next door to the PumpHouse.

A magical Christmas story for the whole family. Santa helps reveal the pleasure of giving. Kelly and Alana are best friends and decide to write to Santa Claus. But Kelly sends the longest list of things that a child wants for Christmas that Santa has ever seen. Santa flies Kelly to the North Pole so she can learn for herself the true meaning of Christmas.

Make sure to use the code ‘Dutch Day’ when you book your tickets!

“This beautifully told morality story holds true to some important Kiwi values…returning year after year to give Auckland audiences its very own Christmas gift.” – Patrick Kelly, Theatrereview 2016
